Geography
Geography: Our Key Documents
Our Geography Intent - The Roots of our Geography Curriculum
Our Geography curriculum intent is linked to our school values and sets out the core principles of our curriculum.
Loving: We want the children to think about their values and what’s important to them and be aware of the wider world and their place in it.
Inspirational: We offer pupils the time to think about humans’ impact on the world and introduce them to inspiring environmentalists and geographers, so pupils have the opportunity to be better citizens and courageous advocates of the future.
Fun: Outside learning is a big part of our geography curriculum. We want our children to learn through hands-on experiences and investigations of physical and human geography in the local environment.
Educational: We want our children to be global. We want them to address their own misconceptions, develop ideas based on data and knowledge; to understand and believe they can make a difference.
